Each year my friend Joe Ruby heads for the Utah Outback with his jeep, Rover. He meets his friend Texas Jack and the two of them and others explore the outback of Utah. Joe sees country upon which few human beings have a chance to feast their eyes.

I hope I can do justice to Joe's excellent photography. I only wish I were able to view many of these sites in person. Perhaps once I finish school, I'll be able to find some time to ride shotgun in Rover and take a few of my own pictures of the Utah Outback!

Like our family, Joe (KC7GHT) keeps in touch via Amateur radio. You may hear him on IRLP now and then. He runs node 3820 in Phoenix, Arizona. While he's in the Utah Outback, he keeps in touch with his wife Joyce (KC7LRS) and I get a chance to hear of his adventures first hand. If you decide to explore the outback of Utah, you might consider this hobby. It's saved both our lives a couple of times!

Joe has given me countless numbers of his pictures and I've still never gotten through all of them. Check back now and then, you might find some new treasures!
